Our Story
Founded in 1898 by Augustin Lumière, a young chemist with a passion for the fields of Provence, Maison Lumière began as a single atelier on the cobbled streets of Grasse. He believed that perfume was not merely a fragrance — it was an emotion, a memory, a soul made invisible.
Today, more than a century later, his great-granddaughter Élise Lumière continues this tradition as our Master Perfumer. She honors the heritage while embracing the future, composing fragrances that whisper of Paris boulevards, sun-warmed lavender fields, and Mediterranean evenings.
